Who we are

Utilities Made Simple Ltd is an independent energy consultancy — a third-party intermediary (TPI) — registered in England & Wales, company number 10105949. We are not an energy supplier and we do not bill you for energy.

How we are paid

Our comparison and switching service is free for you to use. When you enter a contract with a supplier through us, the supplier pays us a commission, which is typically included within the unit rates you are quoted. We will tell you how we are paid on any contract before you sign it, and on request we will disclose the commission that applies to your specific contract.

The Renewal Beat Promise

Send us a current, written renewal offer from your existing supplier and we will compare it against the live market, normally the same working day. Our promise: we will either find you a better like-for-like deal, or tell you plainly that your renewal offer is competitive and worth signing. "Like-for-like" means the same fuel, the same contract duration, an equivalent payment method, and prices valid at the time of comparison. The promise applies to standard business supplies; bespoke and half-hourly supplies are priced individually and market prices for these are only valid on the day of issue. This promise is a commitment to honest comparison — it is not a guarantee that a saving exists in every case, because sometimes your renewal genuinely is the best price. When it is, we'll say so.

Quotations and information

Quotations are based on the information available at the time and on market prices, which change daily. A quote is not a contract; contracts are formed with the supplier on the supplier's terms, which we will always put in front of you before you commit. Content on this website is general information, not advice tailored to your circumstances, and we make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and current.
